Trauma in pregnancy is high stakes and uncommon in many EM practices. The traumatic airway is also hair-raising for many of us. “Trauma Mamas" will focus on the injured pregnant patients who need an airway. We will covering physiologic changes that impact airway management and breathing so you can optimize your approach and keep your patient and her fetus safe.

Describe physiologic changes in pregnancy that can impact airway management in pregnant trauma patients
Optimize airway management in high-risk trauma patients who are pregnant
