Kayla Stammer, MD is a current Emergency Medicine Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. She is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine and has a passion for furthering the science of medicine through research. Her special interests include medical education, pain management, and simulation. She is dedicated to the understanding of how empathetic and culturally competent communication can affect overall health outcomes and a patient’s trust in the healthcare system. Dr. Stammer is deeply committed to sharing her love of Emergency Medicine through teaching as a Student Chief and incoming Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Personal interests include hiking, chasing after her dog, and balancing a love of cooking with a love of eating.
