Dr. Maurer is a practicing emergency physician with Emergency Medicine Specialists in Milwaukee and also serves as the Chief Medical Officer of ConsensioHealth RCM, who is a proud partner of the AAEM Physician Group. After earning her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, she completed her EM residency at George Washington University. Lisa is the Chair of the ACEP Reimbursement Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for EDPMA. She is a co-founder of the Emergency Medicine Business Coalition (EMBC), for which she now serves as the Co-Director of the annual Independant EM Group Master Class conference. Dr. Maurer is a true Cheesehead and takes pride in living in such proximity to the AAEM headaquarters.
