Dr. Duncan is an associate professor at Albany Medical Center, where he splits time between the ED and Cardiac Surgery ICU. A man of far too many interests, he has assumed many roles in his decade of academic practice including ECMO medical director, CVICU director, HEMS and Ground EMS medical director, RECC fellowship assistant director, Trauma liaison, and Division Chief of Emergency Critical Care. His current interests include Emergency Critical Care and ED-ICU development, Cardiac Surgery Quality Improvement, and change management initiatives. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, riding bikes, and exploring the great Upstate of New York.
