Dr. Alexandra “June” Gordon is an emergency medicine and critical care physician. She works in both the Emergency Department and the Medical ICU at Stanford University Hospital, where she also completed her Emergency Medicine Residency and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. Gordon is the Associate Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. She serves as the Medical Director for the Medical Emergency Response Team and Co-chairs the Medical Emergency Response Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the Systems of Care Subcommittee for the Emergency Critical Care section of the American Heart Association and contributes to the Post Cardiac Arrest Care Guidelines Writing Group.
Her clinical and research interests focus on emergency response, cardiac arrest, pulmonary embolism, and the prevention of clinical deterioration.
She is a former chair of the AAEM Critical Care Medicine Section.
