Matthew Johnson, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center and a Critical Care physician with St. Peter’s Health Partners. He completed medical school at Albany Medical Center, followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University & a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Johnson has presented both nationally and locally on topics at the intersection of emergency medicine and critical care. His academic interests include mechanical circulatory support, cardiogenic shock and resident education.
Outside of the hospital, he is an avid Chicago sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
