Sophia Spann, DO is currently completing the Medical Education Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of California Irvine. She was born and raised in California and attended UC Irvine for residency. Dr. Spann's fellowship focuses are in APP curriculum development and improving resident and faculty engagement with feedback. She is a proud dog mom to my her sweet black lab, named Vanna. In her last year of residency, Dr. Spann served as an academic chief and received resident of the year award elected hy her department's interdisciplinary staff. She looks forward to continuing her career in education.
