Steven Hochman MD FACEP is Research Director and Core Faculty at St. Joseph's Health, in Paterson, NJ. Dr Hochman attended medical school at New Jersey Medical School and is passionate about evidence-based medicine, emergency cardiology, airway management and ED quality. He is faculty coordinator of the Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee for the hospital's residency program. He is a past president of NJ ACEP and is the ACEP Inernational Ambassador to Uruguay. He was the recipient of the NJ ACEP - Beverly J Lynch Distinguished Service Award in 2024. When he is not practicing or teaching emergency medicine, he is cycling, hiking, skiing or geting worked up about his favorite sports teams.
