Christopher Woodard is the current ultrasound fellow at the University of Washington. He completed residency at SUNY upstate medical University in Syracuse, New York and completed his medical education at the Royal college of surgeons in Ireland. His interests include utilization of ultrasound in resource limited environments, ultrasound education, and expansion of ultrasound utilization beyond EM. He has participated in and lead ultrasound education efforts in Western Africa, Southeastern and Western Alaska, and rural Washington. He is currently the fellow educational lead for the airlift Northwest Air medical transport service ultrasound program. In his free time in Seattle he is frequently out hiking or catching a Mariners game during the summer months or curled up with a decent sci-fi novel in the other 6 months of cold and rain.
