Kerri Layman, MD FAAEM is the Systemwide Medical Director of Ortho On Call at OrthoVirginia as well as an attending emergency physician with Commonwealth Emergency Physicians in Alexandria, Virgijia. Prior to that, Dr. Layman attended medical school at Georgetoen University Medical School in Washington, DC and served as Chair/Chief of emergency medicine and associate professor MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Georgetown University School of Medicine. She has interests in physician recruitment and retention, Quality and Safety, Peer review and risk management. She is passionate about authentic leadership and women at work. In her free time, you can find Dr. Layman exploring the local food scene, doing hot yoga, and enjoying time with friends and family.
