Dr. Maureen Aiad is a seasoned Emergency Medicine Nocturnist at NYU Langone Long Island with a deep passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting wellness. Whether leading small-group didactics, wellness retreats or guiding students and residents, she brings energy and heart to everything she does.
Outside of the ED, Dr. Aiad is a fierce advocate for holistic well-being—championing rest, emotional health, and mindfulness. She serves on the board of Kula for Karma, a nonprofit focused on mental health for underserved communities.
At home, she finds joy in her family, her rescue dog, and the 'quiet' moments that come with being a mom and partner to a fellow ER physician. She’s also an avid snowboarder, hiker, traveler, and Tonal enthusiast—living proof that wellness and medicine can go hand in hand.
