Mike Winters, MD, MBA, FAAEM (he/him/his)

Dr. Winters is a leader in the field of critical care and resuscitation in the emergency department. He is editor-in-chief of the textbook Emergency Department Resuscitation of the Critically Ill and he is the founder of the EM/IM/Critical Care Training Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has taught courses nationally and internationally and won national education awards from AAEM for his critical care teaching. In addition, he hosts a monthly podcast, Critical Care Perspectives in Emergency Medicine, that focuses on topics at the intersections of emergency medicine, critical care, and resuscitation.
