Pediatric patients are some of the most terrifying airways that you will need to manage. They have unique anatomy, physiology and matabolic demands that need to be addressed to be successful in securing the emergent airway. Be prepared for the most critical procedures before your next shift.

Learn the physiologic and metabolic differences that pediatric patients present with versus adult patients,
account for them be able to identify the proper positioning of the patient based on age
Learn the correct equipment needed for intubation based on patient size.
