The Open Mic Competition is designed to showcase emerging voices in emergency medicine. The selected participant will deliver a 20-minute presentation (18 minutes of content and 2 minutes of Q&A) on any topic relevant to the practice of emergency medicine. A panel of judges will evaluate each presentation. The goal is to identify talented speakers and provide a national platform for them at future AAEM meetings.
Four total presentation slots were filled in advance through an online portal. The remaining two slots are reserved for on-site sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis at the Scientific Assembly, available at the registration desk
