In the chaos of the trauma bay, it’s easy to get swept up in the adrenaline — but that’s also when critical injuries are most likely to be missed. This talk will take a practical look at some of the most commonly overlooked injuries in trauma patients and explore why they’re so easy to miss. Through real cases and evidence-based strategies, we’ll discuss simple, high-yield techniques to improve your diagnostic accuracy, avoid common pitfalls, and catch the injuries that don’t scream for attention — until it’s too late.
