This talk will explore the management of the intubated and mechanically ventilated patient in the emergency department. It will begin with an overview of ventilator basics, including troubleshooting common issues, before delving into more advanced troubleshooting techniques and management of ventilator alarms occurring in the first hour of ventilator management.
